What type of dart is best for a rear gripper? I hold my darts way back where the barrel meets the shaft. Most barrels don't have much going one there grip wise. I think light darts have a little more balance for me.

What are the rear grippers here using?

My knowledge is different to the vast majority of players. You don't and don't need to grip a dart. It's all down to balance and containment. A grip is usually only used to draw something towards you or stop it from falling. Why apply a grip when you have to release it to throw the dart?  In reality, you manipulate the dart to snag your fingers. In other words, you don't grip the dart, the dart grips You.
