In all the videos I have watched, they use an actual dart sharpener. Can I just use a standard dart sharpening stone? If so, is it just the same process as a knife?

I would say that it would work... and if you do it enough you will get very good at it.

Great. I have an actual tool that adjust the angle of the blade for you. doubt that will work good with a dart. I will just pull the stone and use that.
