I'm a noob. It seems like no matter how hard I try, my darts just don't go where I want them to. Is there any specific grips that can help me improve my throw.

I mostly use a 3 finger grip but it doesn't feel right on reelease. nothing really does, and my darts wobble when I throw. Are they just to heavy? I think they are 23g

Certainly! To throw better:

  1. Focus on proper grip.
  2. Work on footwork and body mechanics.
  3. Practice regularly and incorporate drills.
  4. Seek feedback for improvement.

A pencil grip is the most common. You can find it all over YouTube.  Regardless of how you end up holding your dart, keeping your index finger pointed slightly forward will help you avoid straying to the side of the 20. It's basic mechanics. If your fingers are 90 degrees to the dart, as you open your hand, you will end up pushing the dart to the left if you are right-handed, and to the right if you are left-handed.  Other than that, line up your shoulder and elbow, extend everything towards the dartboard, and throw with your wrist and forearm. Have fun.
